Yes, a B2B travel portal can usually give each travel agent their own booking or credit limit. This helps you control how much business an agent can place before they need to make a payment or ask your team for approval. The limit can normally be different for each agent, depending on your agreement and how long you have worked together.

When an agent makes a booking, the value can be taken from their available limit. If they reach the limit, the portal may stop new bookings, request immediate payment, or send the booking to your team for approval. The exact action depends on the portal setup, the payment method and the rules of the supplier. Some suppliers may also require payment at the time of booking, even when the agent still has credit available with you.

Your team may also be able to review an agent's available balance, payments, confirmed bookings and unpaid amounts from one place. Changes to a limit should be controlled carefully, so only authorised staff can increase it. A portal can support this process, but it does not replace your own checks before offering credit to an agent.

Before enabling agent credit, check which booking services support it, when supplier payments are due, and what should happen when an agent reaches their limit.
