The way it works is that the system keeps the travel dates of every booking, so it knows when each customer went away and when they came home. You can then set a rule that says something like, when a leisure booking has been back for a certain length of time, create a follow up task for the agent who handled it, or send that customer a short message inviting them to plan the next trip. Because the booking record already holds where they went and who travelled with them, the message can be written around that rather than being a blank circular to your whole list.

There are two honest limits. The first is that this only works for customers whose consent to be contacted you have recorded, since marketing rules in most countries do not allow you to keep messaging people who never agreed to it. The second is that how far you can automate the sending, as against simply raising a reminder for a member of staff to act on, depends on the plan you are on and on the email or messaging service you have connected.
