Where do the hotel photos and descriptions on my booking website actually come from?
They come from your supplier, not from you, and that is worth knowing before you build your pages.
When a hotel appears in your search results, the pictures, the write up, the room names and the list of facilities are all sent across by whichever supplier is giving you that hotel. Your site simply displays what arrives. That is why the same property can look better on one site than another, because the two sites are buying from different sources and one source holds richer content than the other. It is also why a hotel that has just been added to a supplier's system sometimes turns up with one poor photo and a very short description.
Be realistic about how much of this you can change. You can usually improve the layout, the order of the photos and how the information is arranged on the page, and for a small set of properties you care about you can hold your own text and images and show those instead. What you cannot sensibly do is rewrite the content for thousands of hotels by hand, and you should not claim a facility the supplier has not confirmed, because the traveller will hold you to it at check in.
Look at ten hotels you sell often on your own site and see how the content reads, then ask your supplier whether a fuller content feed is available on your plan before you spend time writing anything yourself.
