Yes, for most bookings this can be automatic. Once the payment is confirmed, the system can create the confirmation, the invoice and the voucher from your own templates and email them to the customer without anyone on your team opening a document. Your logo, your agency details and your terms sit on the template once, and every booking after that uses them.

How quickly the voucher goes out depends on the supplier. Where you are connected to a supplier through an API, the booking reference comes back within seconds, so the voucher can be sent straight away. Where you have booked offline, or where you are selling your own local tours and transfers, someone still has to enter the reference into the booking first. In that case the system can hold the voucher and release it the moment the reference is added, so your staff are entering one line rather than building a document.

Air tickets work a little differently. The system can only send a ticket once the ticket has actually been issued, and that step depends on how your plan is set up and whether issuing happens automatically or through a consolidator. Some hotel and transfer suppliers also only release their voucher closer to the travel date. The usual arrangement is an immediate confirmation and invoice on payment, then the voucher and ticket following as each one becomes available.

It is worth listing your main suppliers and checking which ones return a reference instantly, then setting up your templates and automatic emails for those first.
