Yes, in most cases you need your own agreement with the supplier before their rates can appear on your website. The connection work is ours, but the commercial relationship stays between you and the airline, the hotel wholesaler or the consolidator. They issue you login credentials or API keys, and we use those to pull their content into your site, so what you are allowed to sell, and at what rate, is decided by them and not by us.

Some suppliers sign up a new agent quickly on the strength of your travel licence and company papers. Others want a minimum level of business, a security deposit or a bank guarantee, or proof that you already sell in their market, and a few only accept agents in certain countries. There are also aggregators who hold the airline and hotel contracts themselves and let smaller agencies sell under their agreement, which is usually the easier way to begin if you do not have direct contracts yet. Whether that route is open to you depends on the supplier and on the plan you take with us.

It also helps to know that a supplier we are already connected to goes live much faster than a brand new one, because the slow part is the application and the testing the supplier puts you through, and that timeline sits with them. We cannot promise a go live date that another company controls.

Before you fix a launch date, write down the suppliers you genuinely want to sell, check which of them you already hold credentials for, and ask us which of the remaining ones we have a ready connection to, so you know what can go live straight away and what needs an application first.

Saved.
