Yes, this is one of the easiest things to automate. Once a booking is confirmed, the system can build the confirmation message, attach the ticket or voucher, and send it to the customer straight away without anyone touching it. Your staff only get involved if something goes wrong. You can usually set this up per product type as well, so a hotel booking sends the hotel voucher, a flight booking sends the e-ticket, and a package sends everything together in one email.
What the customer receives can be put together in your own name and style, with your logo, your contact details and your terms, so it does not look like it came from the supplier. You can also choose to send the same information by WhatsApp or SMS where that works better for your market, and send a copy to your own operations inbox so you have a record of what went out.
The honest limit is the document itself. Flight e-tickets and most hotel vouchers come back from the supplier or the airline system in a form that can be attached and sent immediately. Some suppliers, particularly smaller tour and transfer operators or direct contracts, confirm manually and send the voucher later by email, so there is nothing to attach at the moment of booking. In those cases the system can send a booking confirmation at once and then send the voucher as a second message when the supplier document arrives, which is usually the better experience anyway.
It is worth listing your suppliers and checking which ones return documents instantly and which ones confirm by hand, because that tells you which bookings will be fully automatic and which ones still need someone to watch them.
